حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ مُدْرِكٍ الْقِصْرِيُّ، ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو خُلَيْدٍ عُتْبَةُ بْنُ حَمَّادٍ، ثنا ابْنُ ثَوْبَانَ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو مُدْرِكٍ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عُرْوَةَ بْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ أُمِّهِ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، قَالَتْ: «ذَبَحْنَا فَرَسًا فَأَكَلْنَاهُ نَحْنُ وَأَهْلِ بَيْتِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ»
Sayyidah Asma bint Abi Bakr (may Allah be pleased with her) said: "We slaughtered a horse, and then we and the household of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) ate it."
