Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 20553 — the Prophet ﷺ freed Sayyidah Safiyyah
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ بْنِ نَجْدَةَ الْحَوْطِيُّ، ثنا أَبِي، ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنِ الْحَجَّاجِ بْنِ أَرْطَاةَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، «أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَعْتَقَ صَفِيَّةَ وَجَعَلَ عِتْقَهَا صَدَاقَهَا»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) freed Sayyidah Safiyyah (may Allah be pleased with her) and made her freedom her dowry (mahr).
