حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي أُسَامَةَ الْحَلَبِيُّ، ثنا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ أَبِي مَنِيعٍ الرُّصَافِيُّ، ثنا جَدِّي عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، قَالَ: «سَبَى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَفِيَّةَ بِنْتَ حُيَيِّ بْنِ أَخْطَبَ مِنْ بَنِي النَّضِيرِ يَوْمَ خَيْبَرَ وَهِيَ عَرُوسٌ بِكِنَانَةِ بْنِ أَبِي الْحُقَيْقِ»
Imam al-Zuhri (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) took Sayyidah Safiyyah bint Huyayy bin Akhtab (may Allah be pleased with her), who was from Banu al-Nadir, captive on the day of the expedition of Khaybar, while she was the newly-wed bride of Kinanah bin Abi al-Huqayq.
