حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ صَدَقَةَ، ثنا بَكْرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ، حَدَّثَنِي عِكْرِمَةُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ خِرَاشٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ مَيْمُونَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَامَ بَيْنَ صَفِّ الرِّجَالِ وَالنِّسَاءِ فَقَالَ: «يَا مَعْشَرَ النِّسَاءِ، إِذَا سَمِعْتُنَّ أَذَانَ هَذَا الْحَبَشِيِّ وَإِقَامَتِهِ فَقُلْنَ كَمَا يَقُولُ، فَإِنَّ لَكُنَّ بِكُلِّ حَرْفٍ أَلْفَ أَلْفَ دَرَجَةٍ» فَقَالَ عُمَرُ: هَذَا لِلنِّسَاءِ فَمَا لِلرِّجَالِ؟ قَالَ: «ضِعْفَانِ يَا عُمَرُ»
ثُمَّ أَقْبَلَ عَلَى النِّسَاءِ فَقَالَ: «إِنَّهُ لَيْسَ مِنِ امْرَأَةٍ أَطَاعَتْ وَأَدَتْ حَقَّ زَوْجِهَا، وَتَذْكُرُ حُسْنَهُ وَلَا تَخُونَهُ فِي نَفْسِهَا وَمَالِهِ إِلَّا كَانَ بَيْنَهَا وَبَيْنَ الشُّهَدَاءِ دَرَجَةً وَاحِدَةً فِي الْجَنَّةِ، فَإِنْ كَانَ زَوْجُهَا مُؤْمِنًا حَسَنَ الْخُلُقِ فَهِيَ زَوْجَتُهُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ وَإِلَّا زَوَّجَهَا اللهُ مِنَ الشُّهَدَاءِ»
ثُمَّ أَقْبَلَ عَلَى النِّسَاءِ فَقَالَ: «إِنَّهُ لَيْسَ مِنِ امْرَأَةٍ أَطَاعَتْ وَأَدَتْ حَقَّ زَوْجِهَا، وَتَذْكُرُ حُسْنَهُ وَلَا تَخُونَهُ فِي نَفْسِهَا وَمَالِهِ إِلَّا كَانَ بَيْنَهَا وَبَيْنَ الشُّهَدَاءِ دَرَجَةً وَاحِدَةً فِي الْجَنَّةِ، فَإِنْ كَانَ زَوْجُهَا مُؤْمِنًا حَسَنَ الْخُلُقِ فَهِيَ زَوْجَتُهُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ وَإِلَّا زَوَّجَهَا اللهُ مِنَ الشُّهَدَاءِ»
It is narrated from Sayyidah Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) stood between the row of men and the row of women and said: "O assembly of women! When you hear the call to prayer (adhan) and the iqamah of this Abyssinian, say as he says, for you will have one million ranks for every letter." Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: This is for the women; what is there for the men? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Double, O Umar!"
Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) turned to the women and said: "There is no woman who obeys her husband, fulfils his right, mentions his good qualities, and does not betray him in respect of herself or his wealth, except that there will be only one rank between her and the martyrs in Paradise. And if her husband is a believer of good character, she will be his wife in Paradise; otherwise, Allah will marry her to one of the martyrs."
Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) turned to the women and said: "There is no woman who obeys her husband, fulfils his right, mentions his good qualities, and does not betray him in respect of herself or his wealth, except that there will be only one rank between her and the martyrs in Paradise. And if her husband is a believer of good character, she will be his wife in Paradise; otherwise, Allah will marry her to one of the martyrs."
