حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، حَدَّثَنِي مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَزْهَرَ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ الْهِلَالِيِّ، وَهُوَ ابْنُ أَخِي مَيْمُونَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَتْ لِي مَيْمُونَةُ: يَا ابْنَ أَخِي تَعَالَ أَرْقِيكَ بِرُقْيَةِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَتْ: «بِسْمِ اللهِ أَرْقِيكَ وَاللهُ يَشْفِيكَ مِنْ كُلِّ دَاءٍ فِيكَ، أَذْهِبِ الْبَأْسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ، اشْفِ لَا شَافِيَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ»
Abd al-Rahman bin al-Sa'ib al-Hilali (may Allah have mercy on him), who was the nephew of Sayyidah Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her), narrated that Sayyidah Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her) said to me: My nephew, come, let me recite over you the ruqyah of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). Then she said: "'Bismillahi arqika, wallahu yashfika min kulli da'in fika, adhhibil-ba'sa Rabban-nas, ishfi la shafiya illa anta' (In the name of Allah I recite over you, and may Allah cure you of every illness in you. Remove the affliction, O Lord of mankind; cure, there is no curer but You)."
