Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 20194 — the Prophet ﷺ said to Sayyiduna Ali: Are

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْحُلْوَانِيُّ، ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبَانَ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ الْمِنْهَالِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لِعَلِيٍّ: «أَمَا تَرْضَى أَنْ تَكُونَ مِنِّي كَمَا هَارُونُ مِنْ مُوسَى غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ لَيْسَ بَعْدِي نَبِيٌّ»
It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him): "Are you not pleased that you should be to me as Harun was to Musa, except that there is no prophet after me?"
