حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكَّارٍ، ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ بَشِيرٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ أُمِّهِ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، قَالَتْ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَكْرَهُ سُورَةَ الدَّمِ ثَلَاثًا، ثُمَّ يُبَاشِرُ بَعْدَ الثَّلَاثِ "
It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to dislike intimacy during the first three days, when the menstrual blood is most intense, and then he would be intimate after the three days.
