Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 20053 — Sayyidah Umm Salamah said: A daughter

حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، ثنا عُثْمَانُ، ثنا جَرِيرٌ، عَنِ الشَّيْبَانِيِّ، عَنْ حَسَّانَ الْمُخَارِقِ، قَالَ: قَالَتْ أُمُّ سَلَمَةَ: اشْتَكَتِ ابْنَةٌ لِي فَنَبَذْتُ لَهَا فِي كُوزٍ لَهَا، فَدَخَلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يَغْلِي، فَقَالَ: «مَا هَذَا؟» ، فَقُلْتِ: إِنَّ ابْنَتِي اشْتَكَتْ فَنَبَذْتُ لَهَا هَذَا، فَقَالَ: «إِنَّ اللهَ لَمْ يَجْعَلْ شِفَاءَكُمْ فِيمَا حُرِّمَ عَلَيْكُمْ»
Hassan bin Mukhariq narrates that Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: A daughter of mine fell ill, so I prepared nabidh for her in her jug. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came in while it was fermenting, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "What is this?" I said: "My daughter is ill, and I prepared this for her." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah Almighty has not placed your cure in what has been made unlawful for you."
