حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، أَنَّ عَطَاءَ بْنَ يَسَارٍ أَخْبَرَهُ، أَنَّ أُمَّ سَلَمَةَ، زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، أَخْبَرَتْهُ: «أَنَّهَا قَرَّبَتْ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ جَنْبًا مَشْوِيًّا، فَأَكَلَ مِنْهُ، ثُمَّ قَامَ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ»
It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her), the wife of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), that she presented to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) some roasted meat from the side. He (peace and blessings be upon him) ate from it, then stood up for prayer and did not perform ablution.
