حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ نَافِعٍ الطَّحَّانُ الْمِصْرِيُّ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، ثنا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي مَخْرَمَةُ بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، قَالَ: قَالَتْ أُمُّ سَلَمَةَ: ذَكَرْتُ الْمَسِيحَ الدَّجَّالَ لَيْلَةً فَلَمْ يَأْتِنِي النَّوْمُ، فَلَمَّا أَصْبَحْتُ غَدَوْتُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَأَخْبَرْتُهُ، فَقَالَ: «لَا تَفْعَلِي، فَإِنَّهُ إِنْ يَخْرُجْ وَأَنَا فِيكُمْ يَكْفِكُمُ اللهُ بِي، وَإِنْ يَخْرُجْ بَعْدَ أَنْ أَمُوتَ يَكْفِكُمُوهُ بِالصَّالِحِينَ» ثُمَّ قَامَ، فَذَكَرَ الدَّجَّالَ، فَقَالَ: «مَا مِنْ نَبِيٍّ إِلَّا قَدْ حَذَّرَهُ أُمَّتَهُ، وَأَنَا أُحَذِّرُكُمُوهُ، إِنَّهُ أَعْوَرُ، وَإِنَّ اللهَ لَيْسَ بِأَعْوَرَ، أَلَا إِنَّ الْمَسِيحَ الدَّجَّالَ كَأَنَّ عَيْنَهُ عِنَبَةٌ طَافِيَةٌ»
Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: One night I thought about al-Masih al-Dajjal and sleep would not come to me. When morning came, I went early to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and told him about it. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not do that, for if he emerges while I am present, Allah will suffice you through me, and if he emerges after I die, Allah will suffice you through the righteous." Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) stood up and mentioned the Dajjal, and said: "There is no prophet who did not warn his nation about him, and I warn you about him. He is one-eyed, and Allah Almighty is not one-eyed. Beware! The eye of al-Masih al-Dajjal is like a protruding grape."
