حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ التَّمَّارُ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ، ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، وَأُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، قَالَتَا: حَاضَتْ صَفِيَّةُ بِنْتُ حُيَيٍّ قَبْلَ النَّحْرِ، فَدَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهِيَ تَبْكِي، فَقَالَ: «أَحَابِسَتُنَا هِيَ هَلْ كُنْتِ أَفَضْتِ يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ؟» ، قَالَتْ: نَعَمْ، قَالَ: «فَانْفِرِي»
Sayyidah Aishah and Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with them both) both said: Sayyidah Safiyyah bint Huyayy (may Allah be pleased with her) began her menses before the Day of Sacrifice, so the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came in to her while she was weeping. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Is she going to hold us back? Did you perform the Tawaf al-Ifadah on the Day of Sacrifice?" She said: Yes. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Then set off."
