حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي خَيْثَمَةَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ وَرْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، ثنا عَدِيُّ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدٍ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ: «أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَخْطُبُ خُطْبَتَيْنِ يَجْلِسُ بَيْنَهُمَا»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to deliver two sermons, sitting between them.
