حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْأَسْفَاطِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ: «أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَجَمَ مَاعِزًا وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ جَلْدًا»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) stoned Ma'iz, and he did not mention flogging.
