حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الصَّائِغُ، ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، قَالَا: ثنا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ صُبَيْحٍ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ إِذَا حَدَّثَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا، قَالَ: «حَدَّثَتْنِي الْمُبَرَّأَةُ الصِّدِّيقَةُ بِنْتُ الصِّدِّيقِ، حَبِيبَةُ حَبِيبِ اللهِ»
It was the practice of Masruq that whenever he narrated a hadith from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her), he would say: The one declared innocent, al-Siddiqah, daughter of al-Siddiq, the beloved of the beloved of Allah, narrated to me.
