باب تأويل قوله أولئك مبرءون مما يقولون لهم مغفرة ورزق كريم
Chapter: Interpretation of the words of Allah: "Those are declared innocent of what they say; for them is forgiveness and noble provision"

حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ أَبِي الطَّاهِرِ بْنِ السَّرْحِ الْمِصْرِيُّ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، ثنا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ: {أُولَئِكَ} [النور: ٢٦] ، يَعْنِي: «الطَّيِّبِينَ مِنَ الرِّجَالِ وَالنِّسَاءِ» ، {مُبَرَّءُونَ مِمَّا يَقُولُونَ} يَعْنِي: " مِمَّا يَقُولُ هَؤُلَاءِ الْقَاذِفُونَ الَّذِينَ قَذَفُوا عَائِشَةَ هُمْ بَرَاءٌ مِنَ الْكَلَامِ السَّيِّءِ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: {لَهُمْ مَغْفِرَةٌ} [المائدة: ٩] ، يَعْنِي: «لِذُنُوبِهِمْ» ، {وَرِزْقٌ كَرِيمٌ} [النور: ٢٦] ، يَعْنِي: «حَسَنًا فِي الْجَنَّةِ، فَلَمَّا نَزَلَ عُذْرُ عَائِشَةَ ضَمَّهَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى نَفْسِهِ وَهِيَ مِنْ أَزْوَاجِهِ فِي الْجَنَّةِ»
Sa'id bin Jubayr said: "Those" [Surah al-Nur: 26], that is, the good men and women, "are declared innocent of what they say", that is, of what these slanderers who slandered Sayyidah Aishah say; they are free of the evil speech. Then he said: "For them is forgiveness" [Surah al-Ma'idah: 9], that is, of their sins, "and a noble provision" [Surah al-Nur: 26], that is, a good (provision) in Paradise. When the vindication of Sayyidah Aishah was revealed, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) drew her even closer to himself, and she is among his wives (peace and blessings be upon him) in Paradise as well.
