باب تأويل قوله عز وجل يومئذ يوفيهم الله دينهم الحق الآية

حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ صَالِحٍ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ، ثنا عَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ النَّرْسِيُّ، ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، فِي قَوْلِهِ: " {يَوْمَئِذٍ يُوَفِّيهِمُ اللهُ دِينَهُمُ الْحَقَّ} [النور: ٢٥] ، «أَهْلُ الْحَقِّ حَقَّهُمْ، وَأَهْلُ الْبَاطِلِ بَاطِلَهُمْ، وَيَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّ اللهَ هُوَ الْحَقُّ الْمُبِينُ»
Qatadah said concerning this verse: "On that Day Allah will pay them in full their true recompense" [Surah al-Nur: 25]: He will give the people of truth their due (recompense), and the people of falsehood their falsehood (as recompense), and they will know that Allah is the Truth, the Manifest.
