حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الْفِرْيَابِيُّ، ثنا وَرْقَاءُ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، فِي قَوْلِهِ {إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يُحِبُّونَ أَنْ تَشِيعَ الْفَاحِشَةُ فِي الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا} [النور: ١٩] ، يَظْهَرُ بِحَدِيثٍ فِي شَأْنِ عَائِشَةَ "
Mujahid said concerning this verse: "Indeed, those who love that indecency should spread among the believers" [Surah An-Nur: 19]: meaning that (indecency) should become manifest through talk about the affair of Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her).
