حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ، ثنا أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ الزَّهْرَانِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ شِمْرِ بْنِ عَطِيَّةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ الْأَسَدِيِّ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَمَّارَ بْنَ يَاسِرٍ، يَقُولُ: «لَقَدْ سَارَتْ أُمُّنَا مَسِيرَهَا، وَأَنَّهَا لَتَعْلَمُ أَنَّهَا زَوْجَةُ نَبِيِّنَا صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ، وَلَكِنَّ اللهَ ابْتَلَانَا لِيَعْلَمَ إِيَّاهَا نُطِيعُ أَوْ إِيَّاهُ»
Abdullah bin Ziyad al-Asadi said: I heard Sayyiduna Ammar bin Yasir (may Allah be pleased with him) say: Our mother (Aishah) has made the journey she made, and she herself knows that she is the wife of our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in this world and in the Hereafter, but Allah has put us to the test to see whether we obey her or Him.
