Aishah bint Abi Bakr al-Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with them both), wife of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) (he gave her the kunyah Umm Abdullah after Abdullah bin al-Zubayr; the mother of Aishah and her brother Abd al-Rahman was Umm Ruman bint Amir bin Uwaymir bin Abd Shams bin Abd Manaf bin Udhaynah bin Subay' bin Dahman bin al-Harith bin Abd bin Malik)
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 19348 — she said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا عَارِمٌ أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ، ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " أُتِيتُ بِكِ فِي خِرْقَةٍ مِنْ حَرِيرٍ فِي الْمَنَامِ ثَلَاثَ لَيَالٍ، فَقِيلَ هَذِهِ امْرَأَتُكَ، فَكَشَفْتُ الثَّوْبَ فَإِذَا أَنْتِ، فَأَقُولُ: إِنْ يَكُنْ هَذَا مِنْ عِنْدِ اللهِ يُمْضِهِ "
It is narrated from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "For three nights you were shown to me in a dream, in a piece of silk cloth. It was said: This is your wife. I uncovered the cloth and behold, it was you. And I would say: If this is from Allah, He will bring it to pass."
