Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 19304 — When Sayyidah Khadijah passed away, it
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ الْمِنْهَالِ، ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، أَنَا حُمَيْدٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ قَالَ: «لَمَّا مَاتَتْ خَدِيجَةُ اشْتَدَّ ذَلِكَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَتَّى خَشِيَ عَلَيْهِ حَتَّى تَزَوَّجَ عَائِشَةَ»
Abdullah bin Abd bin Umayr said: When Sayyidah Khadijah (may Allah be pleased with her) passed away, it weighed very heavily on the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), so much so that people began to fear for him (peace and blessings be upon him), until he (peace and blessings be upon him) married Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her).
