Zaynab bint Abi Rafi' (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated from Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) that she brought Sayyiduna Hasan and Husayn (may Allah be pleased with them both) to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) during the illness in which he (peace and blessings be upon him) passed away, and said: O Messenger of Allah, these are your two sons, so give them something as an inheritance. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Hasan shall have my dignity and my leadership, and Husayn shall have my courage and my generosity."
