حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ، ثنا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُسَافِرٍ التِّنِّيسِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي فُدَيْكٍ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ يَعْقُوبَ الزَّمْعِيِّ، عَنْ هَاشِمِ بْنِ هَاشِمٍ: أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ وَهْبِ بْنِ زَمْعَةَ، أَخْبَرَهُ، أَنَّ أُمَّ سَلَمَةَ أَخْبَرَتْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دَعَا فَاطِمَةَ بَعْدَ الْفَتْحِ فَنَاجَاهَا فَبَكَتْ، ثُمَّ حَدَّثَهَا فَضَحِكَتْ، قَالَتْ أُمُّ سَلَمَةَ: فَلَمْ أَسْأَلْهَا حَتَّى إِذَا تُوُفِّيَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَأَلْتُ فَاطِمَةَ، عَنْ بُكَائِهَا وَضَحِكِهَا، فَقَالَتْ فَاطِمَةُ: «أَخْبَرَنِي أَنَّهُ يَمُوتُ، ثُمَّ أَخْبَرَنِي إِنِّي سَيِّدَةُ نِسَاءِ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ بَعْدَ مَرْيَمَ بِنْتِ عِمْرَانَ فَلِذَلِكَ ضَحِكْتُ»
Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated that after the Conquest of Makkah the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) called Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) and whispered to her, and she wept; then he (peace and blessings be upon him) told her something, and she laughed. Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: I did not ask her anything until, when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) passed away, I asked Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) about her weeping and her laughing, and Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: "He (peace and blessings be upon him) told me of his death, so I wept; then he told me that I am the leader of the women of Paradise after Maryam bint Imran, and that is why I laughed."
