Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: A man came to Sayyidah Fatimah bint Rasulullah (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O daughter of the Messenger of Allah, did the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) leave anything with you that you could give me as a gift? She said: O slave girl, bring that tablet. She looked for it but did not find it, so Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: Woe to you, look for it, for to me it is equal to Hasan and Husayn. So she looked for it and found that she had swept it away with the rubbish. On it was written: Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "He is not a believer whose neighbour is not safe from his harm. Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him honour his guest; whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him not harm his neighbour; and whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him speak good or remain silent. Allah loves the modest, the forbearing, the weak who refrains from asking, and He hates the shameless, the foul-mouthed, and the one who begs persistently. Indeed, modesty is part of faith, and faith is in Paradise; and shamelessness is part of foul speech, and foul speech is in the Fire."
