من يكنى أبا جبيرة أبو جبيرة بن الضحاك الأنصاري ثم السلمي وقد قيل الضحاك بن أبي جبيرة والصواب أبو جبيرة
Those whose kunyah is Abu Jubayrah — Abu Jubayrah bin al-Dahhak al-Ansari al-Salami (may Allah be pleased with him) (also given as al-Dahhak bin Abi Jubayrah; Abu Jubayrah is correct)
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 19174 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: I

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْخَلَّالُ الْمَكِّيُّ، ثنا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، ثنا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، عَنْ شُبَيْلِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ، عَنْ أَبِي جَبِيرَةَ بْنِ الضَّحَّاكِ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «بُعِثْتُ أَنَا وَالسَّاعَةُ هَكَذَا وَجَمَعَ بَيْنَ الْوُسْطَى وَالسَّبَّابَةِ فَسَبَقْتُهَا كَمَا سَبَقَتْ هَذِهِ هَذِهِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Jabirah bin al-Dahhak al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I and the Hour have been sent like this," and he (peace and blessings be upon him) joined his middle finger and his index finger, "and I have gone ahead of it just as this (finger) is ahead of this one."
