حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، وعَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ، قَالَا: ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ قَالَ: ثنا أسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ، ثنا هُرَيْمُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ بَيَانَ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بَنِ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي شَهْمٍ قَالَ: كُنْتُ بِالْمَدِينَةِ فَمَرَّتْ بِي امْرَأَةٌ فَأَخَذْتُ بِكَشْحِهَا وَأَسْمَعُ الرَّسُولَ، يَعْنِي النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يُبَايِعُ النَّاسَ فَأَتَيْتُهُ فَلَمْ يُبَايِعْنِي وَقَالَ: «صَاحِبُ الْجُبَيْذَةِ بِالْأَمْسِ» فَقُلْتُ: وَاللهِ لَا أَعُودُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ فَبَايَعَنِي
Sayyiduna Abu Shahm (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I was in Madinah when a woman passed by me, and I seized her by the waist. I could hear the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) taking the pledge of allegiance from the people, so I came to him (peace and blessings be upon him), but he (peace and blessings be upon him) did not take my pledge and said: "The one who did the jubaydhah yesterday!" I said: By Allah, O Messenger of Allah, I will not do it again. So he (peace and blessings be upon him) took my pledge of allegiance.
