Those with the kunyah Abu al-Sanabil — Abu al-Sanabil bin Ba'kak bin al-Harith bin Umaylah bin al-Sabbaq bin Abd al-Dar bin Qusayy (may Allah be pleased with him), one of those whose hearts were reconciled; his name was Amr, also said to be Habbah
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 19103 — Sayyidah Subay'ah gave birth
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ الْأَخْرَمُ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، ثنا خَلَّادُ بْنُ أَسْلَمَ، ثنا زِيَادُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، ومَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ أَبِي السَّنَابِلِ، قَالَ: وَلَدَتْ سُبَيْعَةُ بَعْدَ وَفَاةِ زَوْجِهَا بِثَلَاثٍ وَعِشْرِينَ لَيْلَةً، فَتَشَوَّقَتْ، فَأَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأُخْبِرَ، فَقَالَ: «إِنْ تَفْعَلْ فَقَدْ قُضيَ أَجَلُهَا»
Sayyiduna Abu al-Sanabil (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Sayyidah Subay'ah (may Allah be pleased with her) gave birth twenty-three nights after the death of her husband, and she showed a desire (for marriage). Then (someone) came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and he (peace and blessings be upon him) was informed, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If she does so, her waiting period has been completed."
