حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، قَالَ: «رَأَيْتُ يَدَ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ شَلَّاءَ وَقَى بِهَا رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ»
Qays bin Abi Hazim said: I saw the hand of Talhah bin Ubaydullah (may Allah be pleased with him) paralysed; he had had it wounded shielding the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) on the day of Uhud.
