حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، حَدَّثَنِي هُدْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ، ثنا عَاصِمٌ الْأَحْوَلُ، عَنْ كُرَيْبِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ أَبِي مُوسَى، عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ بْنِ قَيْسٍ أَخِي أَبِي مُوسَى: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: «اللهُمَّ اجْعَلْ قَتْلَ أُمَّتِي فِي سَبِيلِكَ بِالطَّعْنِ وَالطَّاعُونِ»
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ، ثنا أَصْبُغُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْحَارِثِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو صَخْرٍ حُمَيْدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مُغِيثِ بْنِ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَقُولُ: «سَيُخْرَجُ مِنَ الْكَاهِنَيْنِ رَجُلٌ يَدْرُسُ الْقُرْآنَ دِرَاسَةً لَا يَدْرُسُهَا أَحَدٌ بَعْدَهُ»

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Burdah bin Qays (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Allah, make the killing of my Ummah in Your path be through spears and plague."
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Burdah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Soon there will emerge from the two Kahin tribes a man who will teach the Qur'an in a way that no one after him will teach it."
