حَدَّثَنَا مُطَّلِبُ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ خَارِجَةَ بْنِ مُصْعَبٍ، عَنْ رَجَاءِ بْنِ حَيْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ: أَنَّ جَارِيَةً مِنْ خَيْبَرَ مَرَّتْ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهِيَ مُجِحٍّ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لِمَنْ هَذِهِ؟» ، قَالُوا: لِفُلَانٍ، قَالَ: «أَيَطَؤُهَا؟» ، قِيلَ: نَعَمْ، قَالَ: «فَكَيْفَ يَصْنَعُ بِوَلَدِهَا؟ أَيَدَّعِيهِ وَلَيْسَ لَهُ بِوَلَدٍ أَمْ يَسْتَعْبِدُهُ وَهُوَ يَغْدُو فِي سَمْعِهِ وَبَصَرِهِ؟ لَقَدْ هَمَمْتُ أَنْ أَلْعَنَهُ لَعْنَةً تَدْخُلُ مَعَهُ فِي قَبْرِهِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Haywah al-Kindi (may Allah be pleased with him) that a slave woman from Khaybar passed by the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) while she was heavily pregnant, close to giving birth. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whose is she?" The people said: She belongs to so-and-so. He (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "Does he have intercourse with her?" It was said: Yes. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Then what will he do with her child? Will he claim him as his son when he is not his son, or will he enslave him when he has been nourished through his own hearing and sight? I had resolved to curse him with a curse that would enter his grave with him."
