حَدَّثَنَا مُصْعَبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ حَمْزَةَ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ، قَالَ: ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ الْجُمَحِيُّ، قَالَا: ثنا حَاتِمُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ هُرْمُزٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ، وسَعِيدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي حَاتِمٍ الْمُزَنِيِّ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِذَا جَاءَكُمْ مَنْ تَرْضَوْنَ دِينَهُ وَخُلُقَهُ فَأَنْكِحُوهُ، إِلَّا تَفْعَلُوا تَكُنْ فِتْنَةٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَفَسَادٌ عَرِيضٌ» قَالَ ثَلَاثًا
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hatim al-Muzani (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When someone whose religion and character you are pleased with comes to you (with a marriage proposal), then marry (your daughter) to him. If you do not do so, there will be tribulation in the land and widespread corruption." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said this three times.
