Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 1896 — from Sayyiduna Jabir that he said

Simak narrates from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: "The children used to pass by the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) would stroke the cheek of some of them, and both cheeks of others. I too passed by him (peace and blessings be upon him), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) stroked my cheek." He said: And the cheek that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had stroked became more beautiful than the other cheek.
