حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزِّنْبَاعِ رَوْحُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، ثنا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ حَبَّانَ بْنِ وَاسِعٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، وَأَبِي بَشِيرٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يُصَلِّي بِهِمْ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ فَمَرَّتِ امْرَأَةٌ بِالْبَطْحَاءِ فَأَشَارَ إِلَيْهَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ تَأَخَّرِي فَرَجَعَتْ حَتَّى صَلَّى ثُمَّ مَرَّتْ "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Zayd and Sayyiduna Abu Bashir al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was leading them in prayer one day when a woman passed by at al-Batha. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) signalled to her to hold back, so she went back until he (peace and blessings be upon him) had completed the prayer, and then she passed.
