حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، أَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ، عَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ تَمِيمٍ: أَنَّ أَبَا بَشِيرٍ الْأَنْصَارِيَّ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ كَانَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي بَعْضِ أَسْفَارِهِ، قَالَ: فَأَرْسَلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَسُولًا قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ: حَسِبْتُ أَنَّهُ قَالَ وَالنَّاسُ فِي مَقِيلِهِمْ: «لَا تَبْقَيَنَّ فِي عُنُقِ بَعِيرٍ قِلَادَةٌ مِنْ وَبَرٍ، وَلَا قِلَادَةٍ إِلَّا قُطِعَتْ» قَالَ مَالِكٌ: «أَرَى أَنَّ ذَلِكَ مِنْ أَجْلِ الْعَيْنِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Bashir al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) that he was with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) on one of his (peace and blessings be upon him) journeys. He said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) sent a messenger (to announce) - Abdullah bin Abi Bakr said: I think he also said: while the people were at their midday resting places - "Let no necklace of camel hair, nor any necklace, remain on the neck of any camel without being cut off." Malik said: I think this was on account of the evil eye.
