حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى، ثنا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبْجَرَ، عَنْ إِيَادِ بْنِ لَقِيطٍ، عَنْ أَبِي رِمْثَةَ، قَالَ: دَخَلْتُ مَعَ أَبِي عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَرَأَى أَبِي الَّذِي بِظَهْرِهِ فَقَالَ: دَعْنِي أُعَالِجُ مَا بِظَهْرِكَ فَإِنِّي طَبِيبٌ، قَالَ: «أَنْتَ رَفِيقٌ، وَاللهُ الطَّبِيبُ» قَالَ: وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِأَبِي: «مَنْ ذَا مَعَكَ؟» قَالَ: ابْنِي، أَشْهَدُ لَكَ بِهِ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أَمَا إِنَّكَ لَا تَجْنِي عَلَيْهِ وَلَا يَجْنِي عَلَيْكَ» وَذَكَرَ أَنَّهُ رَأَى بِرَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَدْعَ الْحِنَّاءِ "
Sayyiduna Abu Rimthah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I entered upon the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) with my father. My father saw the mark that was on his (peace and blessings be upon him) back and said: "Allow me to treat this mark on your back, for I am a physician." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You are gentle; the Physician is Allah." He said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to my father: "Who is this with you?" He said: "My son; I bear witness to it." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, you will not bear the guilt of his crime, nor will he bear the guilt of yours." And he mentioned that he saw a trace of henna on the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him).
