حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ، ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ، أَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، حَدَّثَنِي الْحَارِثُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ نُفَيْرٍ، عَنْ يَعِيشَ الْغِفَارِيِّ قَالَ: دَعَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِنَاقَةٍ يَوْمًا فَقَالَ: «مَنْ يَحْلُبُهَا» ، فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ: أَنَا، قَالَ: «مَا اسْمُكَ؟» ، قَالَ مُرَّةُ، قَالَ: «اقْعُدْ» ، ثُمَّ قَامَ آخَرُ، فَقَالَ: «مَا اسْمُكَ؟» ، قَالَ مُرَّةَ: قَالَ: «اقْعُدْ» ، ثُمَّ قَامَ آخَرُ، فَقَالَ: «مَا اسْمُكَ؟» ، قَالَ: جَمْرَةُ، قَالَ: «اقْعُدْ، ثُمَّ قَامَ يَعِيشُ» ، فَقَالَ: «مَا اسْمُكَ؟» قَالَ: يَعِيشُ، قَالَ: «احْلُبْهَا»
Sayyiduna Ya'ish al-Ghifari (may Allah be pleased with him) said: One day the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) called for a she-camel and said: "Who will milk her?" A man said: "I will." He (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "What is your name?" He said: "Murrah." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Sit down." Then another man stood up, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "What is your name?" He said: "Murrah." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Sit down." Then a third man stood up, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "What is your name?" He said: "Jamrah." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Sit down." Then Ya'ish stood up, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "What is your name?" He said: "Ya'ish." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Milk her."
