حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ الْمِنْهَالِ، ثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ بْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ السُّوَائِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْغَدَاةَ بِمِنًى فِي مَسْجِدِ الْخَيْفِ فَلَمَّا سَلَّمَ اسْتَقْبَلَ النَّاسَ بِوَجْهِهِ فَإِذَا هُو بِرَجُلَيْنِ فِي أُخْرَيَاتِ النَّاسِ لَمْ يُصَلِّيَا مَعَ النَّاسِ فَقَالَ: " ائْتُونِي بِهَذَيْنِ الرَّجُلَيْنِ فَأُتِيَ بِهِمَا تَرْعَدُ فَرَائِصُهُمَا، فَقَالَ: «مَا مَنَعَكُمَا أَنْ تُصَلِّيَا مَعَ النَّاسِ؟» قَالَا: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ قَد كُنَّا صَلَّيْنَا فِي الرِّحَالِ قَالَ لَا تَفْعَلَا إِذَا صَلَّى أَحَدُكُمْ فِي رَحْلِهِ وَأَدْرَكَ الصَّلَاةَ مَعَ النَّاسِ فَلْيُصَلِّهَا مَعَهُمْ فَإِنَّهَا لَه نَافِلَةٌ "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Yazid bin al-Aswad al-Suwa'i (may Allah be pleased with him); he said: I prayed the morning prayer with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) at Mina in Masjid al-Khayf. When he (peace and blessings be upon him) gave the salam, he turned his face towards the people and saw two men at the back of the people who had not prayed with the people. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Bring these two to me." They were brought while their bodies were trembling. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "What kept you from praying with the people?" They said: "O Messenger of Allah, we had already prayed in our camp." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not do that. When one of you has prayed in his camp and then finds the prayer with the people, let him pray it with them as well; it will be a voluntary (nafl) prayer for him."
