Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 18712 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: What can
حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْفَسَوِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ يُونُسَ أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْمُسْتَمْلِيُّ، ثنا حَاتِمُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي شُرَيْحٍ الْكَعْبِيِّ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَاذَا يَرْجُو الْجَارُ مِنْ جَارِهِ إِذَا لَمْ يَرْفَعْ لَهُ خَشَبَةً فِي جِدَارِهِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Shurayh al-Ka'bi (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "What can a neighbour hope for from his neighbour if he does not even let him place his beam in his wall?"
