حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزِّنْبَاعِ رَوْحُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ، حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ قَالَ: «تُوُفِّيَ أَبُو شُرَيْحٍ الْكَعْبِيُّ وَاسْمُهُ خُوَيْلِدُ سَنَةَ ثَمَانٍ وَسِتِّينَ بِالْمَدِينَةِ، وَقَدِ اخْتُلِفَ فِي وَفَاتِهِ»
Yahya bin Bukayr narrated: Abu Shurayh al-Ka'bi, whose name was Khuwaylid, passed away in Madinah in the year 68 AH, and there is also disagreement about (the year of) his death.
