سلمة بن كهيل، عن أبي جحيفة
Salamah bin Kuhayl from Abu Juhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him)
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 18543 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Sit
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ، ثنا قَطَنُ بْنُ نَسِيرٍ الدَّارِعُ، ثنا يَزِيدُ أَبُو خَالِدٍ الْبَيْسَرِيُّ، أَنَا أَبُو مَالِكٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي سَلَمَةُ بْنُ كُهَيْلٍ، عَنْ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «جَالِسِ الْعُلَمَاءَ، وَسَائِلِ الْكُبَرَاءَ، وَخَالِطِ الْحُكَمَاءَ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Juhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Sit in the company of the scholars, ask the elders, and mix with the wise."
