حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ الْبَجَلِيُّ الْكُوفِيُّ قَالَا: ثنا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى الَأَكْفَانِيُّ، ثنا خُنَيْسُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ، ثنا مَالِكُ بْنُ مِغْوَلٍ، عَنْ عَوْنِ بْنِ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ سَيِّدَا كُهُولِ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ مِنَ الْأَوَّلِينَ، وَالْأَخِرِينَ مَا خَلَا النَّبِيِّينَ وَالْمُرْسَلِينَ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Juhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Abu Bakr and Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) are the leaders of the mature men among the people of Paradise, of the first and the last, except for the prophets and the messengers."
