حَدَّثَنَا الْمُفَضَّلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْجَنَدِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو حُمَةَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، ثنا أَبُو قُرَّةَ قَالَ: ذَكَرَ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، أَخْبَرَهُ عَنْ عَوْنِ بْنِ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ قَالَ: «صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِالْأَبْطَحِ، وَكَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي قُبَّةٍ مِنْ أَدَمٍ فَتَوَضَّأَ مِنْ تَوْرِ حِجَارَةٍ، فَخَرَجَ بِلَالٌ بِفَضْلِهِ فَصَلَّى الظُّهْرَ وَالْعَصْرَ يَمُرُّ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ الرَّجُلُ وَالْمَرْأَةُ وَالْحِمَارُ مِنْ وَرَاءِ الْحَرْبَةِ»
Sayyiduna Abu Juhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I prayed with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) at al-Abtah. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was in a tent of leather; he (peace and blessings be upon him) performed ablution from a stone vessel, then Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) came out with the water left over from his (peace and blessings be upon him) ablution. He (peace and blessings be upon him) led Zuhr and Asr while men, women and donkeys were passing beyond the spear.
