Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 18472 — the Prophet ﷺ prayed Zuhr as two rak'ahs

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ جَمِيلٍ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ، ثنا إِسْحَاقُ الْأَزْرَقُ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ عَوْنِ بْنِ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: «صَلَّى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الظُّهْرَ بِالْبَطْحَاءِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ، ثُمَّ سَارَ فَصَلَّى الْعَصْرَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ حَتَّى قَدِمَ الْمَدِينَةَ فَأَتَمَّ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Juhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed Zuhr as two rak'ahs at al-Batha', then he set off and prayed Asr as two rak'ahs as well, until he reached Madinah and prayed the complete prayer.
