حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ الْأَزْدِيُّ، ثنا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ زَائِدَةَ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الضَّبِّيُّ قَالَ: ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ رَجَاءٍ قَالَ: ثنا زَائِدَةُ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، عَنْ عَوْنِ بْنِ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «صَلَاةَ الظُّهْرِ بِمَكَّةَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ صَلَاةَ الْمُسَافِرِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Juhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed the Zuhr prayer in Makkah as two rak'ahs, the prayer of a traveller.
