Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 18310 — I said: I will surely watch the prayer

Sayyiduna Wa'il bin Hujr (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I said: I will surely watch the prayer of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) to see how he (peace and blessings be upon him) prays. So he (peace and blessings be upon him) stood, faced the qiblah, said the takbir and raised his hands up to the level of his ears, then grasped the left hand with the right hand. Then he bowed and raised his hands level with his ears, then placed his palms on his knees. Then he raised his head and raised his hands level with his ears. Then he prostrated and placed his head between his palms. Then he prayed the second rak'ah in the same way. Then he sat and spread out his left foot, then supplicated, placing his left palm on his left knee and his right palm on his right knee, and he supplicated with the index finger.
