Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 18141 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: There

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ، ثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَبِي الزَّرْقَاءِ، ثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ حَمَّادٌ الْكُوفِيُّ , عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ عِلَاقَةَ، عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ إِلَّا جُعِلَ مَعَهُ قَرِينٌ مِنَ الْجِنِّ» , قَالُوا: وَلَا أَنْتَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ قَالَ: «وَلَا أَنَا , إِلَّا أَنَّ اللهَ أَعَانَنِي عَلَيْهِ فَأَسْلَمَ , فَلَا يَأْمُرُنِي إِلَّا بِخَيْرٍ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Mughirah bin Shu'bah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There is no one except that a companion (qarin) from among the jinn has been assigned to him." The Companions said: "Even you, O Messenger of Allah?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Even me, except that Allah helped me against him, so he submitted (became Muslim), and now he commands me to nothing but good."
