Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 18012 — the Prophet ﷺ wiped over the leather
حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، عَنِ التَّيْمِيِّ، عَنْ بَكْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، «أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ» مَسَحَ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ، وَمَسَحَ مُقَدَّمَ رَأْسِهِ، وَوَضَعَ يَدَيْهِ عَلَى الْعِمَامَةِ، وَمَسَحَ عَلَى الْعِمَامَةِ " وَلَمْ يَذْكُرِ الْحَسَنَ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna al-Mughirah bin Shu'bah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) wiped over the leather socks, wiped over the front part of his head, and placed his hands on the turban and wiped over the turban as well.
