حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ الْحَلَبِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ رَجَاءٍ، أَنَا حَرْبُ بْنُ شَدَّادٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ مُعَيْقِيبٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَهُ فِي الْمَسْحِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ: «إِنْ كُنْتَ فَاعِلًا فَوَاحِدَةً»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Mu'ayqib (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him concerning levelling (the pebbles) during the prayer: "If you must do it, then do it once."
