Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 17826 — I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Muti' bin al-Aswad (may Allah be pleased with him); he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say on the day of the Conquest of Makkah: "After this day, until the Day of Resurrection, no Qurayshi will be taken captive and killed without a fight." And of those of Quraysh named al-As, no one other than Muti' was granted Islam. His name was formerly al-As, and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) named him Muti'.
