Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 17813 — I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ praying

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ قَيْسٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي كَثِيرُ بْنُ كَثِيرِ بْنِ الْمُطَّلِبِ بْنِ أَبِي وَدَاعَةَ السَّهْمِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ: «رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي فِي الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ وَالنَّاسُ يَطُوفُونَ بِالْبَيْتِ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الْقِبْلَةِ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ، لَيْسَ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَهُمْ سُتْرَةٌ»
Sayyiduna al-Muttalib bin Abi Wada'ah al-Sahmi (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) praying in the Sacred Mosque (al-Masjid al-Haram) while the people were circling the House (in tawaf); they were passing in front of him, between him and the qiblah, and there was no barrier (sutrah) between him and them."
