Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 17763 — I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ بَحِيرِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ، عَنِ الْمِقْدَامِ بْنِ مَعْدِي كَرِبٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " إِنَّ لِلشَّهِيدِ عِنْدَ اللهِ تِسْعَ خِصَالٍ - أَوْ قَالَ: عَشَرَ خِصَالٍ - يُغْفَرُ لَهُ فِي أَوَّلِ دُفْعَةٍ مِنْ دَمِهِ، وَيَرَى مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ، وَيُحَلَّى حِلْيَةَ الْإِيمَانِ، وَيُجَارُ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ، وَيُزَوَّجُ مِنَ الْحُورِ الْعِينِ، وَيَأْمَنُ يَوْمَ الْفَزَعِ الْأَكْبَرِ، وَيُوضَعُ عَلَى رَأْسَهِ تَاجُ الْوَقَارِ: الْيَاقُوتَةُ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا، وَيُزَوَّجُ اثْنَتَيْنِ وَتِسْعِينَ زَوْجَةً مِنَ الْحُورِ الْعِينِ، وَيُشَفَّعُ فِي سَبْعِينَ إِنْسَانًا مِنْ أَقَارِبِهِ "
Sayyiduna al-Miqdam bin Ma'dikarib (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "The martyr has with Allah nine - or he said: ten - qualities: he is forgiven as soon as the first drop of his blood falls; he is shown his place in Paradise; he is adorned with the ornaments of faith; he is protected from the punishment of the grave; he is married to the wide-eyed houris (hur al-'in); he is safe on the Day of the Greatest Terror; a crown of dignity is placed on his head, a single ruby of which is better than the world and everything in it; he is married to ninety-two wide-eyed houris; and his intercession is accepted for seventy of his relatives."
